Enzo Ametrano

CEO & CTO

I'm Enzo Ametrano, founder of skalenta.io, and I've been working as a software and DevOps engineer for over 20 years. During that time I've built systems for global enterprises and small, fast-moving teams alike — from a first prototype all the way to infrastructure handling millions of requests in the background. One lesson runs through all of these chapters: good operations doesn't depend on the size of a company, but on how consistently recurring work is automated.

It all started in the gaming industry. For many years I developed games as a software programmer — first at an indie studio where you inevitably do everything yourself: code, build, servers and releases all in one hand. My largest project to date was a football manager featuring Jürgen Klopp, a title with a real audience and real load pressure. Game development is a merciless school for performance, real-time systems and stability: when tens of thousands of players go online simultaneously at launch, the system forgives nothing. Those principles still shape my work today.

Later I specialized in e-commerce and SaaS, working with clients such as EJOT, Mercedes and Liebherr. Suddenly the goal was no longer fun — it was revenue, supply chains and compliance: systems where downtime directly costs money. At this intersection of engineering and business I realized that technology has never interested me as an end in itself, but always as a lever for a measurable result. That thinking is exactly what skalenta.io is built on.

About Skalenta

skalenta.io automates cloud operations for SaaS and e-commerce companies. As a managed service we take over the infrastructure, operations and security of your cloud — with infrastructure as code, automated routines, monitoring and self-healing — so your team can focus on building product instead of fighting the platform.

skalenta.io grew out of a pattern that repeated itself across two decades of engineering: teams woken up at night by alerts, cloud bills rising without clear reason, and weeks swallowed by firefighting and audit preparation. The building blocks that solve these problems were the same at every company — so we packaged them into a product rather than rebuilding them everywhere from scratch.

Our standard is clear: professional cloud operations should not be a privilege reserved for large enterprises. We make cloud operations measurably cheaper, compliant by design from the ground up (DORA, NIS-2, EU AI Act) and effortlessly scalable — with a guaranteed minimum 5X ROI.

What clients say

Real-world experiences — teams that have measurably automated their cloud operations with skalenta.io.

As a pure dev team we didn't want to build a dedicated DevOps role. The stack was set up cleanly on Azure once, all as code — and operations have run autonomously through KI-Ops ever since. We're building features again instead of firefighting infrastructure.

We run on donations and volunteers — an IT department is unthinkable for us. Everything was moved to Azure once and has run on its own ever since. We get to focus on the animals again — KI-Ops takes care of the technology.
Board Member · Non-profit animal welfare organisation
A deploy used to mean uploading files over FTP and hoping. Now everything's in Git, runs through pipelines, and KI-Ops flags outages and critical versions across all my client sites. I can finally see what's going on.
